A Place Of Perfect Harmony

Gazing into the river...
Of my most perfect of dreams
There my eyes… can plainly see
His loves reflection…
Smiling back at me
In my moment of sweetest tranquility
I toss into the waters… my greatest of hopes and dreams
Into the ever... eternal flowing stream
Of all the things… I pray for… to someday graciously see
Not just for me… but also for you
For our future generations… to someday know
A place filled with peace and hope
Of loves unending possibilities… upon those streets of glistening gold
Raising my eyes… I gaze upon the soaring birds
Drifting across the bluest of sunlit skies
Closing them… I sweetly imagine
I’m up there… spreading my wings… I can finally fly!
A place of perfect harmony
Where pain cannot take away my joy or my heavenly flight
Embracing my moment… I hold on so dearly
Soaring towards that beautiful light
To stand beside that glorious river
As peaceful solitude fills the evening air
I awake… feeling some sadness, yet great anticipation
For someday I'll be there
And yet, I know in my heart and soul…
Someday… I shall see it all!!
For He is there waiting… for that perfect moment
When He calls to welcome me Home
