If I Can Be A Blessing

Dear Lord, if I can be a blessing
For someone else today
Please guide my heart, my hands and words
In all that I convey

If I can ease another’s pain
Or wipe away a tear
I’ll share words of soothing comfort
And when needed… I’ll hold them near

If I can be a blessing
Showing someone that I care
I’ll share my smile… and all the while
I’ll hold them in my prayers

For I’ve seen so many heartaches...
Wonderful blessings, too
Moments shared with the Lord…
Without Him… What would I do?

If I can be a blessing… Lord
Helping others along the way
I find that life... Is so much sweeter
Through the love... I share each day
