Standing atop the lighthouse
As she gazes upon the horizon
Where shimmering lights dance upon the waves
There she bows, in honored silence
Thanking God... for all her days

Her heart holds this, as a glimpse of heaven
In all the beauty, she has seen
Of all the sunrises and sunsets
The inspiration, they often bring

There... she breathes in all the glory
God has provided her to see
No other place upon this earth
She would ever wish to be

Unless it be the Greatest Mansion
Somewhere above the clouds, within His artistry
Where rays of light shine like beacons
Beckoning her...My child, come and follow Me

She whispers in her humble prayers
Thank You, God
For all Your gracious blessings
Of the sunrises and sunsets,
And those I've yet to see
For my peaceful place
I've found here on earth
Where Your love always...
Dwells with me
