In The Garden Of My Soul
In The Garden Of My Soul
![]() |
In the garden I cross the bridge
Inhaling the days of my life
I often reflect in the mirrored waters below
In my celebrations and moments of strife
There I cross over, sitting in a field of rainbow petals
Among the rows of my planted seeds
Sometimes my fingers have grasped the thorns
As I felt the pain of my misdeeds
It is never impossible, for drought cannot kill the seed
In the planting of hope, compassion and love
For we always have saving grace
Raining from the Heavens above
And when the weeds of doubt and shame
Emerge from my gardens floor
It is there; I get down on my knees... plucking them
Saying, "I need you never more"
There I stop to smell the faint scent of Heaven
"In the garden of my soul"
The journey is all mine... I rejoice!
It is the Lords path that I have chose
