Thanking God For Everything



In the morning when I rise…
As I greet the glistening morning dew
I will lift my eyes to the Father
Giving praise… is what I’ll do!

For God has truly showered...
His blessings!
With so many wonderful things…
to feel and see
I’m so thankful… for each new day
He so graciously gives to me

I’m thankful for the sun above
Providing a warming and soothing light
Adding the moon… and twinkling stars
Illuminating the darkest of nights

The flowers that bloom…
Each and every colorful spring!
For my feathered friends… above
The songs they sing!

For my lovely children…
What an amazing sight!
For all those times…
I rocked them through the night

I’m grateful for my loved ones…
I hold so very dear.
Yet, I find I hold them even closer
When I lift them in my prayers.

These are just a few…
Of many to be mentioned
Blessings I find… so sweet
Giving them each… my love and attention

In all my earthly days
Giving praise…
is what I’ll do!
Thanking God for everything
Adding… the gift He gave in you!!
