My Little Man
My Little Man ~*~ By Marilyn Tarrant
My little man...
Was born as normal as you and me…
Or so we thought.
For he had a problem deep inside
That we could not see.
Always laughing and smiling and as sweet as the love he gave,
He stole my heart from the moment that he came.
My little man was stolen from me in a dark mysterious way,
Lost and silent in a world we could not reach or see.
Where is the gentle soul we all knew?
I miss him so.
My Little Man…
Is lost in a world of Autism, it has changed him so.
We work hard to free him little by little
One step forward and three steps back.
I hope someday he will be able to meet me in the middle
And I will be able to glimpse my little man again.
Our lives were changed forever, a lot of bad and a lot of good.
We see a different side of things now.
How we have made it through… I do not know.
By God’s grace my little man who is a big man now
Will bless those around him
And be a reminder of the blessings they have
And the ones they do not know.
