There are times in this life
We need a friend or two
To bring to us the sunshine
When we are sad and blue

The wounderful words from a friend
Sometimes... never need to be spoken
The comfort of a shoulder
Helps mend the heart, thats sadly broken

Sharing a little smile
Letting us know that we matter
To talk a little while
How it makes you feel so much better

Simple words that lift the spirit
A hand to gently hold
When the world feels so lonely outside 
Oh, How you seem to warm the cold

With gracefulness in your caring ways
You wipe away the tears
A wonderful blessing you are to me
I pray, God grants us many more years

So that is why I'm sending this
To let you know, what you mean to me
A friend I'll love forever
Through all eternity
