When the morning comes... for me to greet
I walk down the hall to your room
Saying, "Time to arise, my beautiful child"
As I wrap my arms around you
My lips touch the warmth of your velvet cheeks
As I feel your heartbeat in gentle tempo
All the way to my very own
I thank God for every second
Every minute we have known
In this simple, yet beautiful moment
My heart embraces my sweetest blessing... so dear
Holding you so close in my loving arms
My eyes, feel the joys... of all my thankful tears
Then I think of the days to come
What the future shall hold
What will you do?
"Just be a good and honest person", I pray
"Always carry Gods strength and love with you"
