Mama, I Love You
Mama, I Love You
If you can still look… upon your mother
Admiring her beauty and gentle grace
Stop today and just look at her…
Memorize her face
~*~
Stop and hold her giving hands
Feel their ever-soothing touch
For when I think of my Mama
My heart... still misses hers so much
~*~
If you are still blessed with these moments
When the day has begun
Tell her that you love her
For all... she has ever done
~*~
If you can hold her
In your own arms
Hold her close for me…Wont, you please?
For I miss my Mama … and yet I somehow know
She also… misses me
~*~
If you can place your lips
Upon the softness of her cheek
Give her a gentle squeeze
Add a warm hug … wont you please?
And if you don’t mind… it would be very kind
Add a little kiss for me
~*~
Oh, How I miss my very own
The moments that we shared
All the wonderful things she did
Always showing me... how much she cared
~*~
You see… this year
My mother celebrates in Heaven, once more
This year she shares it with her very own
The one she also looked up to
The one she too... adored
~*~
I think it will be the loveliest Mother’s Day
Heaven will have ever known
For they sit amid the grandest garden
The most beautiful bouquet... to ever behold
~*~
I can envision all the Mothers…
We miss this very Special Day
Gathered together… talking and laughing
Watching over… the baby angels at play
~*~
If you are so blessed to be…
Arm in arm together… once more
Whether it’s celebrated with cards, roses... maybe candy
Possibly dinner under the glow of the moon
I think the greatest gift... you could give her
Are simply the words...
