A Dandelion's Life
A Dandelion's Life
![]() |
I poked my nose through the darkness
Easing gently out into the light
Soaked in the warmth of the sunshine
And gazed at the sky... all blue and white
I stretched first one way, then another
Then relaxed in the warmth of the sun
And looked all around me
To see what the others had done
They too, were luxuriously sun bathing
The whole world seemed... so wonderfully fine
I dozed, till I heard the sound of a mower
Then shuddered....
For I was the Dandelion
